- Go to the page and content you wish to edit.
- Move your mouse cursor over the content, and when the cursor turns to a crosshair, right click on the area you wish to edit. The crosshair indicates that it’s an editable content chunk in SAM.
- Some options that are available in the right-click (contextual) menu:
- Content: Edit the content directly.
- Info: Edit the chunk name.
- Bucket: Displays a list of all available buckets, select a different one to move the content chunk to it.
- Resequence: If there are multiple chunks on the page that are in the same bucket, this allows you to change their sequence.
- Style: Displays any custom styles available for this type of chunk.
- Edit Source: Edit the HTML source for this content chunk.
- Cascade: Inheritance, if there are child pages under the page you’re on and you want this content chunk to appear on those pages, you would enable this.
- View History: Displays all the revisions that have been made to this content chunk so that you can restore a previous version.
- Duplicate: Creates a copy of this chunk on the current page.
- Delete: Removes the chunk from the current page.
- Edit the text as needed, or change out images. Can copy and paste from other editors. Headline styles are available in the Paragraph drop down, and any custom styles are available in the Formats drop down.
