- Navigate to the page you wish to edit, right-click on the content chunk and choose Content where you want to add the link.
- Highlight the text you want to link.
- Click Insert/Edit Link button in the toolbar.
- Three types of things you might link to:
- Page within your site: Use the Local Page field, click the button to the right, and select a page to link to. Click Ok, then click Ok again.
- Document such as a PDF: Use the URL field, click the button to the right, and select a document to link to from the file manager. If your document isn’t in the file manager, navigate to the folder where you want to upload it, then click Upload > Local Machine. Drag and drop your file(s) to that window, or click Add Files to select them manually. Then click Insert. Be sure to select Target as New Window for PDF links, then click Ok.
- External link: In the URL field, enter the full path to the website you want to link to. Be sure to include the https:// at the beginning, and also select Target as New Window for all external links, then click Ok.
- Email link: In the URL field, enter the email address you want to link to, preceded by mailto: so for example you could link to mailto:joe@company.com. After you save the content chunk, if you click that link it will open your default email client and start an email to that person.
