Remove a user's permissions

We recommend removing a user's permissions as opposed to deleting their user account because you're disabling their log in, but you still retain all their user history such as any revisions they may have made to content on the site

  1. Select Permissions from the SAM Toolbar
  2. Click Users and Groups
  3. Click Edit Groups
  4. Click to expand the group you wish to edit, then click Edit Group.
  5. Click on the user whose permissions you want to remove and it will turn off the highlight on their name. Then click Post Content.
  6. Click to expand the other groups to confirm that user isn't in another group, then click Close Window.
