If you want a chunk to have the same content on several pages in different sections of the site, you can use a mirrored chunk. To add it:
- Go to the page with the chunk you want to use. Make note of the chunk title by right-clicking on it and select Title. It will pop up a window with that chunk's title. Make note of that title and click Cancel.
- Go to the page where you want to create a mirrored chunk.
- Select Content and in the second drop down select Mirrored Chunk.
- You'll see a tree-level view of the site. Find the page with the content you want to mirror. Click the plus sign to expand any folders you need to open, then click on the page where that chunk resides.
- You'll see a list of chunk titles. Click on the one with the chunk title you saw in step 1.
- Your page now has a mirrored copy of that chunk and any changes that you make to it will also be updated on all mirrored copies of that chunk.
Note: You can navigate throughout the site and you'll see that the mirrored chunks were updated but you still need to publish all pages with that chunk. If your site is ready to publish, that is the easiest thing to do.
