If you would like a page to be hidden from navigation then here are the steps to do that. Please note that most primary level pages on your site, such as the About Us, News and Events or Careers sections cannot be hidden. Also you might not be able to hide a page from the home page marquee or animation without submitting a ticket for us to hide it for you. It all depends on the age of your site and how it was built.
After you hide your page, we'd recommend staging the site and testing the staged site to confirm that your page no longer appears in the navigation. If you have any links in other chunks on the site or in the header/footer, then users would still be able to get to that page. These steps simply hide it in the navigation.
- Go to the page you wish to hide.
- Select Architecture from the SAM toolbar.
- Click Edit Page Info.
- Uncheck the box for Visible in Navigation.
- Click Post Content.
Depending on your site's navigation (i.e. if you have drop downs on every page), you may need to publish the whole site. You can always try staging it then test the staged site to be sure.
